Food Diary...Do you keep one?? They can be so effective in helping you along your weight loss journey. Effective because they make you stop and think about everything you put in your mouth. You become so much more aware when you take the time to log what you're eating and also accountable for your health. It exposes everything that you put in your mouth ...and you can't lie to yourself when its all written down and staring back at you.
I think its an integral part in your weight loss journey, and helps you really look at where, and how you can improve your nutrition and helps you make better choices to aid your health.
Online tools such as "Calorie King" and "My Fitness Pal" are free and easy to use, or just plain
old school, pen and paper does the trick.Lets challenge ourselves this week to keep a food diary, and write down everything we eat or drink, there maybe some areas of opportunity or none at all. If you need a template to print off, "the project girl" has a great template, stick it on your fridge and be honest with what you mark on it..only then can you really start to make some dietary changes, when you can see where you need to make the change..
